stag4Stag parties are a popular phenomenon today. An event that marks the transformation of a man from being a happy-go-lucky bachelor to a responsible and family-oriented man – it allows for all the guilty pleasures of yore to be enjoyed and relished one final time. Naturally, the outcome is a more intense one but it’s the organizer of a stag party who faces the arduous task since, a lot of preparations need to be taken into consideration to make a stag party a raging success.

Things start with deciding the theme of the bachelor party. If it’s in the last week of October, then the theme that fits the best is Halloween. For James Bond fans, nothing would satisfy more than a bachelor’s party with a James Bond theme and so on. Like-mindedness between the participants is the key here. The idea here is to make a stag party both exciting and interesting; thus, the more detailed it is, the better.

No party is complete without appropriate music. This is a call to the stag party organizer to create a set list that shall stretch to prolonged hours of playing, say, anything between six and nine hours. The easiest way to do it is by asking (in advance) the invited their respective favorite tracks and mixing them up (shuffle mode). You may also choose to hire a DJ to play them as they are or remixed. That’s an especially good move if the party premises comes with a dance floor.

When you are done and exhausted, it is time for some games. Poker rules the stag party scene, but so do various other indoor games. To be on the safe side, choose from among casino games unless there is something else preferred and demanded for by the rest.

All those activities are bound to stir up a great deal of hunger, so the platter must be kept ready to be presented immediately when called for. It may or may not represent the theme; mostly, it’s the done-on-grill items that are preferred to go well with the alcoholic beverages. One thing must be remembered that a stag party is not a typical wine-and-fine-dining event; so prefer Jack Daniels, not Cabernet Sauvignon (pronounced Ka-bur-ney Saw-vi-nio) or Dom Perignon (p. Dom Perinio). The latter two are better suited to the wedding party and the wedding night.

So welcome to a night/weekend of High-Testosterone! Make the male factor come alive once again!
