Belgrade is known for its nightlife.  Its normal for an evening out in Belgrade to not even begin until 11pm. Usually people will meet up in one of the many cafes which you will find on every street. After this people will move on to a club or a floating river cafe, known as a “splav”.

The clubs are in general situated in the old town, and continue on till way past breakfast.

Whilst in Belgrade you should check out Partizan Stadium. This is the home of FK Partizan football team.  If you are lucky enough to be in Belgrade when there is a game on, you should check it out. You can see the current fixture lists here. Metallica played this stadium in 2004 during their “Madly in Anger with the World” tour.  If you will be in Belgrade in May you could consider getting AC/DC tickets for the Partizan Stadium – its sure to be a show to remember.
